With the completion of this 300-hour course, you will receive a certificate for “Aspects of Yoga Advanced Teacher Training Program with Emphasis on Yoga Therapy”.
Graduates will be eligible to apply to register as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®500) with Yoga Alliance if they have been registered with Yoga Alliance RYT®200 before.

- Two references,
- 200-hour-yoga Teacher Training(s) – certifications may be required
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
The Aspects of Yoga 300-Hour In-Depth Study and Advanced Teacher Training Program is a continuation of the 200-Hour Program.
Study Topics for 300-hour-Teacher Training with Emphasis on Yoga Therapy Level I: The Importance of Relaxation, Yoga for Women during the Menopause, Yoga for High Blood Pressure, Yoga for Asthma, Back-Care and Scoliosis, Chest, Neck and Shoulders, Yoga Life-Style Coaching, Yoga for the Elderly, Yoga in Corporate Environment, Depression and Mood, 21st Century Traumas, Relationships between Yoga Teachers and Health Caregivers, Spiritual Aspect of Yoga, Functional Anatomy and Systems of the Body, Ethics for Yoga Teachers, Ayurveda, Business Side.
Applying Yoga Therapy: Sequencing and adaptation, Teaching yoga therapeutically to a group and individually, Group-work studies, Listening and observing, Breathing as a therapeutic tool, Understanding of human values and human nature.
About the Teachers: Monika Munzinger ( ERYT500) is founder of the ‘Aspects of Yoga Teacher Training’ TT program. She began practicing meditation and yoga in 1983 and for many years she ran a yoga center in Bodrum to which visitors and students came from all over the world. Her daughter runs it now. Her approach to her own yoga practice changed over the course of time. Observing the effects of asanas on herself and then on her students made her change the way of she was teaching and modify asanas to suit different students’ special needs. She travels extensively, running themed workshops in Turkey and beyond. The topics of the workshops currently focus, in the main, on the therapeutic aspects of yoga. Today Monika lives close to Philadelphia where, when not traveling, she teaches and runs workshops.
Emin Ergen is a professor of sports medicine. Dr.Ergen completed his speciality program in sports medicine at Aegean University. Dr.Ergen worked as a visiting assistant at Italian National Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Institute and did his master of science studies in sport sciences at Loughborough University. He is the chairman of Turkish National Olympic Committee Medical Commission and also the secretary general of European Federation of Sports Medicine Associations. Mutlu Binark teaches “Ethics for Yoga Teachers’” as part of the 500-hr TT. Mutlu lectures full-time in media and-new media studies. She has participated in various yoga workshops with well-known teachers as well the 200-hr Aspects of Yoga. She teaches yoga voluntarily to women to supplement the budget of the Ankara’s Womens’ Shelter. She believes that practicing yoga helps us to understand the inner mind and to develop inner peace.
Drs Judith Aartsma teaches Ayurveda as part of the 500-hr TT. Judith is a certified Ayurveda Therapist and medical doctor. Currently she practices integrative, east-west medicine, with the focus on Ayurveda in Leiden, Netherlands and runs workshops in Turkey as a means to raise awareness about Ayurveda, the benefits of a natural lifestyle and conscious living.
Drs Ummuhan Basaslan teaches “Relationships between Yoga Teachers and Health Caregivers” and “The Relationship between Physiotherapy and Yoga” as part of the 500-hr TT. Ummuhan lectures in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at University and has published several works on the effects of Hatha Yoga.
Yildiz Ozturk teaches the business side of yoga as part of the 500-hr TT. Yildiz has a degree in Sociology from the Middle East Technical University (METU) and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Finance. She works in the accounting and auditing profession as an international relations expert.
Selin Kartal teaches Yoga Life-Style Coaching. Selin is certified in life-couching at Kuraldisi Consultancy and in 200-hour-Teacher Training of Aspects of Yoga.
Venue: Weekend classes take place at Om Yoga in Besiktas Istanbul, Turkey and the 9-day-Intensives at Yoga Center Bodrum in Bodrum,Turkey
